JENNIFER POLSE PAYNE

MA, LMFT, LPCC

Ever since I was a teen, I knew I wanted to get into a career path that would make a difference in people’s lives. Being a therapist was something that always felt like the right match. I started my training as a therapist at 22 and it was the best decision I ever made.

I have spent the last 20+ years working with a variety of clients. I specialize in working with teens, young adults, and families. Parent support is a specialty of mine. I find supporting the parents of the teens I work with, imperative to the growth and change for teens.  I am an authentic, direct, non judgmental therapist that thrives on connection. I truly am curious and interested in all my client's lives and want to provide support, love, and tools for them to live more fulfilling lives. I am an eclectic therapist that uses many modalities and skills in my work with clients because everyone's needs vary. I come from a Family Systems, Humanistic, and Client-Centered background.

I have had the honor of supervising trainees and associates for over 10 years and continue to grow and learn in this profession.

Good Faith Estimate

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.

You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call (800) 985-3059.
